Responsibilities
Manage and resolve outstanding high-dollar insurance claims and aged accounts
Identify billing issues and work with leadership to find solutions
Analyze payment trends and ensure reimbursements align with contracts
Work with payer representatives to resolve claim disputes
Research state and payer regulations to support collections
Train and support colleagues as needed
Qualification
Required
Proven and exceptional oral and written communication skills (making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls)
Strong organization and follow up skills
Excellent problem solving, resolution skills
Prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently with minimal instruction or supervision (after initial training)
Required to be proficient in Windows based office technologies (ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred
College Degree, relevant health care certification or equivalent experience
Previous claims processing experience
Stable work history
Previous experience with financial applications, account payable or accounts receivables
