The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is inviting applications for two PhD Dissertation Fellow positions for the summer of 2025. This program offers PhD students in economics the chance to engage in high-quality research and collaborate with the Bank’s research economists and visiting scholars.

Collaborate with the Bank’s research economists, visiting scholars, and other dissertation fellows

Deliver a formal presentation at the Dallas Fed’s brownbag seminar series during the last two weeks of their fellowship

Open to PhD students from all PhD-granting institutions (both domestic and international)

Applicants must have passed their qualifying exams and reached the dissertation stage of their program

The program will be held in-person in Dallas, lasting from 4 to 12 weeks, during the fall of 2025/spring 2026

Fellows are expected to deliver a formal presentation at the Dallas Fed's brownbag seminar series during the last two weeks of their fellowship
