Responsibilities
Assists with developing and managing Procurement staff members
Develops and maintains effective working relationships within organization and with vendors to facilitate procurement and purchasing
Ensures the consistent application of policies and procedures
Assists in departmental budget preparation
Maintains regular and on-time attendance
Follows all safety regulations
Supports commitment to its culture and values including Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
4–7 years of progressively responsible procurement or supply chain experience (required)
Experience in contract administration, purchasing, and vendor management (required)
Preferred
Leadership experience managing procurement teams (preferred)
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field
Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO)
Other recognized procurement/supply chain certifications (e.g., CIPS, APICS)
Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar)
Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and supplier diversity initiatives
Familiarity with risk management and compliance frameworks
