Responsibilities
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies relevant to a technology-focused environment
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or contractors with questions and access needs
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as required
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity
Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting findings as needed to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives
Participate in emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or patrol findings
Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for technology assets and personnel
Qualification
Required
Possess at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience
An armed guard card or license is required
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required
Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas roles
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
