Responsibilities

Courteously greets visitors, providing an exceptional first impression

Provide information regarding the tastings offered, tasting fees and answer questions regarding the winery, family history, and surrounding area

Assist guests in making reservations over the phone and direct calls within the tasting room

Actively remain aware of tasting room guest count, ensuring large unscheduled groups are handled on a basis of availability and guest wellbeing

Support retail sales team by managing guest entry into the tasting room

Maintain and organize retail merchandise and support retail team in maintaining clean bars, including glassware…as needed

Maintain an open line of communication with the sales team as well as the Tasting Room Manager

Required

You must be 21 years of age

You have attention to detail and a strong ability to communicate over the phone and in person

You have strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure

You have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals

You have the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

You have the ability to manage priorities and workflow

You have intermediate computer and phone skills

You have excellent customer service skills

You demonstrate professional demeanor in all circumstances

You must be able to lift 50 lbs. (a case of wine)
