InternThe City of Westfield, Indiana is seeking a Summer Intern to assist the Westfield Welcome team in event planning and coordination. The intern will gain experience in volunteer management, event production, hospitality initiatives, and research related to future events.

Responsibilities
Assists with organizing, planning, and implementing various events, including, but not limited to, Westfield International Festival, Memorial Day Ceremony, Donut Trail, Touch a Truck, Westfield Rocks the 4th, and Colts Training Camp
Assists in conducting research, planning, and promotion of Fall & Winter events
Assists with volunteer recruitment and other initiatives
Assists in social media planning
Assists with database and volunteer management
Qualification
Required
Strong communication skills
Major in Event Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Communications, or other related fields
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working towards a bachelor's degree in Event Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Communications or other related field
Valid driver's license in the State of Indiana
Preferred
Experience with Canva, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
