Services Growth Leader

GE Vernova is seeking a Growth Leader to support the Service Growth Strategy in North America. The role involves implementing industry standards, improving project performance, and coordinating between teams to drive business development and growth strategies.

Responsibilities

Implements standards and best industry practices
Assessing project performance against established business objectives and adjusting strategies as needed
Track and improve the strategic utilization of resources
Build a return of experience (ROE) process and ensure results are shared with the entire organization
Improves communication and productivity
Coordination between Post-Award Phase Team and Pre-Award Phase Team
Leads projects as well as coaches other project leaders on the implementation of improvements
Perform project reviews to identify process gaps, and methods to improve project execution and cost reduction
Work on strategies for business development & growth per product. Develop strategies for installed base per product, and strategies to win new business and customers
Coordinate between Commercial Team and Technical Team to provide competitive strategies, solutions, bids and proposals to Customers
Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners
Discovers and explores business opportunities. Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials
Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth
Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
Coordinate with Finance and Execution Team for reporting purposes

Required

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, commercial, or related field
Experience within Execution/Proposal/Tendering
Strong customer service mind set
Track record of negotiating and closing deals
Demonstrable High level of integrity and role model with respect to company values

Preferred

Demonstrable success in building, managing, mentoring and promoting a successful team
Ability to effectively work in a multi-functional team and operate within a matrix organization with transparency and trust
Experience and ability to define and implement a negotiation strategy
Strong oral and written communication skills
