Responsibilities

Enter invoices timely and accurately, including matching inventory receipts to invoices for merchandise vendors and timely processing of automated software invoices for non-merchandise vendors. This also includes examining the account numbers of all invoices for general ledger accuracy

Process payments timely and accurately, including ensuring all proper approval and documentation is obtained prior to making the payment

Ensure accuracy of payables records, including ensuring accurate invoice dates, due dates, payment amounts, no duplicate records, etc

Ensure accuracy of vendor records, including contact information, payment information, etc

Review credit aging for accuracy and recoverability. Work with vendor and/or the sourcing team to recover available credits

Effectively communicate and resolve all payment discrepancies/problems to ensure minimal delays and maximum efficiency in processing payables

Maintain accurate and organized filing system for payables

Handle mail-run for the accounting department and disburse appropriately amongst coworkers

Assist with Auditor requests

Other duties, as assigned
