New GradCDM Smith is looking for a Structural Engineering Fall Co-Op to join the team! In this role, you'll be working with a dynamic team of industry leading engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects, performing various tasks including CADD design and field inspection work.
Responsibilities
CADD Design Project, will be trained to learn CDM Smith CAD Standards
Web searches and product data updates
Excel spread sheet development (macro routines, repetitious calcs)
Structural library cataloging
Field inspection work
Shop Drawing reviews
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
Intermediate Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices
Knowledge of engineer principles of design
Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.)
Good written and verbal communications skills
Intermediate knowledge of engineering analysis/design software (e.g. Revit, STAAD, RISA)
