Responsibilities
Inspect fireplaces, chimneys, and venting systems, including climbing ladders, navigating roofs, and entering tight spaces
Conduct professional in-home sales presentations, asking for the sale to achieve one-call closes when appropriate
Provide accurate estimates and recommend products and services tailored to each homeowner’s needs
Follow a proven no-pressure sales methodology to deliver results while ensuring client satisfaction
Maintain and develop strong client relationships through follow-ups and exceptional service
Collaborate with office staff and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution
Stay current with industry trends, maintain at least one professional certification within three months of hire, and participate in ongoing training and workshops
Manage contact lists and utilize our CRM to track client interactions and pipeline progress
Submit detailed daily activity reports and meet sales targets consistently
Qualification
Required
An interest in technical problem-solving and the ability to understand and communicate solutions effectively
Ability to ask for the sale confidently, handle multiple follow-ups, and close deals professionally
Self-starter, goal-driven, and coachable, with a commitment to personal growth and professional success
Outstanding interpersonal skills to develop rapport, patience to handle challenging calls, and motivation to serve clients' needs
Comfortable with heights, navigating roofs, and physically enduring hands-on inspections
Valid driver's license
Ability to work independently
Willingness to collaborate with team members
Preferred
Sales background preferred, 2+ years of in-home or outside sales
