Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the Data Service Desk, handling and resolving data support tickets to ensure timely and accurate issue resolution

Review, audit, and correct data submitted by Sales and Customer Success in alignment with UPSTACK data policies and standards

Regularly audit and monitor data within internal systems to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance

Collaborate with Data Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to inform, document, enforce, and improve data policies and standards across the organization

Own, maintain, and govern the Salesforce Data Dictionary to ensure consistent data definitions and usage company-wide

Required

2+ years of experience working with Salesforce or other CRM platforms, including CRM data structures, integrations, and data management

Strong understanding of technology and computer science fundamentals, including software development concepts and data systems

Proficiency in data analysis techniques, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and data quality issues across multiple data sources

Experience with data auditing processes and best practices to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance

Solid quantitative skills, including statistical analysis and mathematical reasoning

Proficiency in programming or scripting languages relevant to data management (e.g., SQL, Python)

Experience creating and maintaining clear, detailed reports and documentation; familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex data issues and recommend data-driven solutions

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment (e.g., Engineering, UX/UI, Sales) and adapt to evolving project requirements

Demonstrated interest in building and maintaining data governance, auditing, and quality assurance processes
