Responsibilities
Oversee project accounting for multiple active engagements
Maintain job cost, WIP, and revenue recognition schedules
Perform percentage-of-completion accounting and forecasting
Prepare budget vs. actual and project margin analysis
Review and approve project billings and contract adjustments
Monitor change orders, commitments, and cost-to-complete
Partner with Project Managers on financial performance
Support month-end close and project reporting
Ensure contract compliance and audit readiness
Assist with process improvements and system enhancements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of project or construction accounting experience
Strong understanding of job costing, WIP, and revenue recognition
ERP experience
Advanced Excel skills
Preferred
Experience in AEC, consulting, construction, or project-based environments
CPA or CPA-track a plus
