Responsibilities
Lead and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, and measurable outcomes
Partner with the Lead Staff Engineer to provide technical oversight on frontend and backend development, including serverless architectures, cloud infrastructure, and RESTful APIs
Collaborate with Technical Program Manager, Project Manager, Design, and other stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute the roadmap
Partner with Technical Program Manager to translate business and product requirements into clear technical specifications
Encourage innovation and the adoption of modern frameworks and tools to enhance product capabilities and engineering practices
Ensure strong cross-functional alignment with engineering, design, and customer support on customer-facing initiatives
Own team operations, ensuring efficient processes for delivery, quality, and reliability
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience managing product-oriented engineering teams
Strong technical foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Next.js
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and serverless architectures
Proficiency with RESTful API design and event-driven systems; familiarity with tRPC is a plus
Familiarity with modern development practices: Agile, Git/SVN, CI/CD, and release management
Ability to balance leadership with occasional hands-on contributions when needed
Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers to deliver user-focused solutions
Proven ability to mentor engineers, manage multiple priorities, and deliver impactful projects
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to bridge technical execution with business needs
