Responsibilities

Monitor and support critical mobile core systems including EPC, IMS, and 5G Core
Ensure high availability and performance of wireless data and IoT services
Contribute to troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and operational stability

Required

Currently enrolled in a certification program (e.g., Boot Camp, Apprenticeship, Community College), or currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Relevant fields include Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field
Hands on experience in wireless core or IP networking environments
Basic knowledge of 3G/4G/5G Core components (e.g., MME/AMF, SGW/PGW/UPF)
Familiarity with IP networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching)
Proficient with Linux command-line navigation

Preferred

Exposure to telecom protocols such as Diameter, GTP, SCTP
Experience with network monitoring or ticketing tools (Nagios, Grafana, Splunk, ServiceNow)
Knowledge of virtualized/cloud-native platforms (VMware, OpenStack, Docker/Kubernetes)
Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell for automation
