Director of Marketing & Ecommerce
NinetyEightConsulting is a leading luxury women’s ready-to-wear brand seeking a Director of Marketing & E-Commerce to lead global digital growth. This role involves overseeing the ecommerce business, developing digital marketing strategies, and ensuring alignment between ecommerce and retail initiatives.
Responsibilities
Own the ecommerce business end-to-end, including revenue growth, conversion optimization, site experience, merchandising, and customer acquisition and retention
Lead ecommerce strategy across platform, UX/UI, on-site merchandising, CRO, analytics, and digital optimization initiatives
Partner with internal teams and external agencies to oversee paid media, SEO, email, SMS, and CRM strategies with a focus on performance and profitability
Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track performance and guide decision-making
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing and brand strategy that supports long-term growth and brand equity
Ensure cohesive brand storytelling across ecommerce, campaigns, email, social, retail, and customer touchpoints
Oversee campaign planning and execution in collaboration with Creative, Merchandising, and Wholesale teams
Translate brand vision into scalable, measurable marketing initiatives
Work closely with retail leadership to align ecommerce and in-store strategies, ensuring a seamless omnichannel customer journey
Support retail initiatives including store openings, in-store activations, localized marketing, and clienteling efforts
Leverage digital insights and customer data to inform retail strategy and enhance in-store performance
Own the customer lifecycle strategy, including acquisition, retention, loyalty, and re-engagement
Lead CRM initiatives across email and SMS to drive repeat purchase, engagement, and lifetime value
Utilize customer data and insights to personalize experiences and strengthen brand loyalty
Qualification
Required
8–12+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or brand marketing, preferably within luxury, fashion, or DTC brands
Proven track record of scaling ecommerce revenue and leading high-impact digital marketing initiatives
Experience supporting retail and omnichannel strategies
Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, performance marketing, analytics, CRM, and digital ecosystems
