Responsibilities

Assigns, coordinates, and verifies completion of routine maintenance and operation of all mechanical, electrical, H.V.A.C systems and any other related equipment which gives to efficient and safe operations of the facility
Visually inspects quality of work
Act as the Director Engineer in absence of the Director in such capacities as hiring, counseling, and training
Build productive and positive interdepartmental relationships
Coordinate inspections of all elevators and escalators with the proper regulating agency
Works in conjunction with hotel managers and acts as a liaison between property and vendors to review latest in hotel technology and products
Additional duties assigned by Management, as needed, to further business objectives to include but not limited to meeting attendance, managing contracts, budget management, special projects

Qualification

Required

High School Graduate or equivalent
3+ years of engineering experience in hotels or related industry
4+ years of supervisory experience in the same or similar environment
Ability to write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions to engineering staff
Flexible Schedule
Valid Driver's License

Preferred

EPA – OSHA 10-30 – CPO certifications, (preferred but not required)
HVAC – Electrical – plumbing specific, preferred
