Responsibilities
Work as a member of a team in support of a production operation with a goal-oriented mindset toward increasing productivity, decreasing downtime, and eliminating waste
Assume an active role in any/all the facility’s work
Follow all company/location safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures
Maintain all shop areas, tools, machinery, and equipment per Lean/5S standards
Follow a production schedule
Maintain a consistent flow of information to shop Foreman
Identify lulls in production and shift support to teammates
Receive and carry out tasks and instruction issued by Foreman
Participate in continuously improving through Lean/5S
Qualification
Required
Strong and professional communication skills
Must be creative and confident in evaluating processes and offering solutions
Ability to maintain peer to peer relationships with a natural willingness to support the team
High school diploma
Pass background check, drug screen and have a valid driver's license
Basic knowledge of common hand tools and pneumatic tools
Basic knowledge of fractions / can read a tape measure
Appropriate time management skills
