Territory Development Manager
SoTalent is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Development Manager to accelerate business growth through strong relationships with operators, local chains, and trade partners. In this role, you’ll leverage data, digital tools, and culinary expertise to drive customer engagement, expand market reach, and deliver sustainable growth across your territory.
Responsibilities
Build and manage customer relationships to achieve business goals in sales growth, reach, and digital engagement
Identify and convert new business opportunities while strengthening existing partnerships
Execute a multi-touchpoint sales strategy using CRM tools and analytics to plan and track success
Conduct culinary solution presentations, demos, and virtual consultations to create demand and deliver superior customer experiences
Collaborate closely with distributors and trade partners to align priorities, share insights, and grow secondary sales
Apply market trends and data insights to craft innovative food solutions and selling strategies
Execute promotions and seasonal initiatives to maximize sales performance
Qualification
Required
Dynamic and results-driven personality
Ability to build and manage customer relationships to achieve business goals in sales growth, reach, and digital engagement
Experience in identifying and converting new business opportunities while strengthening existing partnerships
Ability to execute a multi-touchpoint sales strategy using CRM tools and analytics to plan and track success
Experience conducting culinary solution presentations, demos, and virtual consultations to create demand and deliver superior customer experiences
Ability to collaborate closely with distributors and trade partners to align priorities, share insights, and grow secondary sales
Ability to apply market trends and data insights to craft innovative food solutions and selling strategies
Experience executing promotions and seasonal initiatives to maximize sales performance
Natural hunter with a passion for driving new business opportunities (70% new acquisition vs. 30% account management)
Tech-savvy and proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred), Excel, and Power BI
Entrepreneurial, curious, and constantly learning from market trends to stay ahead
Confident in selling premium brands and culinary solutions that inspire customer loyalty
Preferred
3–6 years of CPG or foodservice B2B sales experience
Solid network within the foodservice or distributor ecosystem
Experience in culinary or chef-led selling environments
Strong market knowledge and consultative selling skills
Background in a multinational organization or hospitality/culinary education is an advantage
Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin is a plus
