Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

Lead daily execution of production activities in the assigned work center to meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets
Supervise, coach, and evaluate Team Leads and Operators, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork
Ensure adherence to daily build schedules and takt time; escalate risks to production targets to the Operations Manager
Monitor and track performance against key metrics (output, defects, rework, attendance, downtime) and lead Tier 1 daily management meetings
Coordinate with Planning, Materials, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure work center readiness (materials, tools, documents, etc.)
Enforce safety protocols, 5S practices, standard work, and compliance with operational policies
Support onboarding, cross-training, and upskilling of team members in partnership with Learning & Development
Lead or support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation for issues impacting quality, delivery, or safety

Required

Bachelor's in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or a related degree. At least two years of additional relative experience, including demonstrated leadership, in lieu of a degree will also be considered
3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including 1+ years in a formal or informal leadership role
Experience with takt time, standard work, visual management, and daily tier meetings
Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility; highly promotable with the potential to take on broader leadership roles within a fast-paced, high-growth organization
Proficiency in basic digital tools (ERP, Excel, production dashboards)
Strong people leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Root cause analysis (5 Whys, fishbone, etc.)
Conflict resolution & feedback
Understanding of Lean, 5S, and visual factory principles
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced production environment
