Research and Event Organizer Assistant

Responsibilities

Assist in research of current trends, data, and developments in:
Fashion & beauty industry business models
Sustainable and circular fashion practices
Textiles, manufacturing, and supply chain innovation
Marketing, retail, e‑commerce, and digital transformation
Identify relevant readings, multimedia, BoF professional articles, and case studies
Assist in curating examples for weekly modules aligned with topics such as:
Design, merchandising, sourcing, marketing, influencer business models, product development, sustainability, retail, distribution, and future of fashion
Help coordinate fashion‑related events, workshops, and speaker sessions for both courses
Communicate with guest speakers regarding schedules, materials, and event needs
Assist with logistics such as room setup, technology support, and promotional materials
Capture event notes or photos (when appropriate) for course use or archives
Assist students by directing them to resources (BoF membership, readings, sustainability materials)
Track updates from BoF, Vogue Business, McKinsey’s State of Fashion, and other industry sources
Assist with scheduling related to course activities or speaker sessions
