Laboratory Coordinator -Cancer Center (BRCF)

Responsibilities
Process specimens under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, including those collected for the repository or on behalf of other investigators and clinical trials, in accordance with all applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Perform specimen banking for long-term storage for the repository or other investigators, ensuring compliance with established SOPs
Distribute samples as assigned
Follow the laboratory’s quality assurance plan to ensure accurate execution of laboratory processes, including daily quality control activities
Adhere to all laboratory standard operating procedures. Participate in reviewing SOP’s for accuracy on an annual basis
Qualification
Required
2 years of relevant work experience. Relevant education may substitute on a year for year basis
