Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Conduct depositions, court conferences, and motion arguments
Develop case strategies and evaluate case value
Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation/arbitration where appropriate
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely and effective case progression
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar
5-10 years of litigation experience in personal injury, specifically in premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and labor law
Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom skills required
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy abilities
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently and efficiently
Strong work ethic and a client-focused mindset
