$18/hr - $20/hrDigitech Computer is seeking a Patient Call Center Representative to work remotely full time. The representative will handle patient calls regarding ambulance bills, discuss payment options, and accept payments over the phone while ensuring adherence to health insurance regulations.

Responsibilities
Answer heavy call volume in a remote call center environment
Make outbound calls to patients with outstanding balances to discuss payment options and obtain health insurance information
Answer patient questions and address concerns in a friendly and empathetic manner
Forward calls as necessary to alternate billing departments
Determine resolutions to customer issues while adhering to our client rules and
expectations
Follow through with all requests, which may require calling alternate parties, emailing or
faxing information
Qualification
Required
Experience working in a call center with a daily quota to meet
Knowledge of health insurance, copays, deductibles and EOB's
Ability to handle large volumes of work while meeting tight deadlines
Experience in an environment where calls were monitored and scored as well as metrics applied to individual performance
Ability to deal calmly and effectively with situations via telephone while maintaining and promoting a positive company image
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to present information and solutions in a professional and courteous manner
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Able to organize and prioritize tasks in order to complete all work assigned
Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
Strong computer skills with a basic understanding of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
Preferred
Experience working with patient invoicing from the provider side
Bilingual English/Spanish is a huge plus
