Responsibilities

Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards

Use of personal influence to garner support across all customers

Understanding of clinical workflows

Understanding of laboratory regulatory practices

Ability to build and work within high functioning teams

Owns and leads major system-wide projects designed to improve standardization, create efficiencies, establish best practices, and support innovation

Required

Bachelor's Degree in business, health care administration or related field

Four (4) years' experience as a department supervisor or manager or the equivalent

Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of different software programs

Demonstrated advanced oral/written communication, analytical, and strategic skills

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously

Must possess a valid state driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy

Preferred

Master's Degree in Management Engineer

Degree in a Quantitative, Industrial Engineering, Business or Healthcare related field

Black Belt/Green Belt/LEAN Certification

Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist under ASCP, NCA, or equivalent as defined under CLIA '88 regulations
