Responsibilities
Lead and manage interdisciplinary design teams, providing technical guidance to engineers, designers, and technicians
Apply advanced engineering principles to the design, analysis, integration, and testing of complex mechanical and ocean-deployed systems
Develop and review technical products, test procedures, and documentation to meet customer requirements
Collaborate with manufacturing, integration, and test teams to ensure design feasibility and quality
Support bid and proposal efforts with technical approaches, cost estimates, and schedules
Travel domestically and internationally, including pier-side and offshore operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Ocean Engineering
5–10 years of practical engineering experience; 2+ years leading multidisciplinary teams
Expertise in industrial automation and controls: hydraulics, pneumatics, and electro-mechanical systems
Familiarity with maritime port operations, cranes, cargo handling, and shipboard equipment
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., SolidWorks, MATLAB) and Microsoft Office
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Department of Defense Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
Strong technical judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills
