The role involves full software development lifecycle participation, including frontend and backend development, as well as collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise-level web applications for the State’s Medicaid Web Portal

Develop and maintain framework functionality supporting EDI Services

Build responsive, platform-independent, and mobile-ready user interfaces

Perform frontend and backend web development, including web services

Participate in full software development lifecycle from analysis through deployment

Conduct unit testing, system testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance

Support production systems and troubleshoot complex technical issues

Collaborate with business users, analysts, DBAs, QA teams, infrastructure, and support teams

Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Assist in modernizing legacy Medicaid systems to newer technology platforms

Required

7+ years of experience with Tapestry

7+ years of experience with JavaScript

Strong experience in enterprise web application development

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred

Experience with Java

Experience with UC4

Experience with ActiveMQ

Experience with Unix/Linux variants and shell scripting

Experience with SQL

Experience with MongoDB

Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience
