Responsibilities
Manage post award grant processes for several programs within UMIACS
Report to PI's on a monthly basis and work with them regularly to ensure that their funds are being used efficiently and strategically to accomplish the scope of work, as described in their proposals
Reconcile accounts, including reviewing expenses to ensure that they are compliant with the Uniform Guidance as well as UMD policies
Perform transfers and other account corrections, as needed
Continue to learn and advance within the UMIACS organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Knowledge of grants related policies and procedures, and federal, state, and other applicable related laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances
Skill in oral and written communication
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products
Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
Preferred
Experience supporting sponsored research activities, including post-award management and financial tracking
Familiarity with federal and non-federal sponsor regulations and compliance requirements
Working knowledge of Concur, Workday, and HCM systems
Expertise in BA4 highly preferred
