Responsibilities
Partner with Capital Group’s product, technology, and business teams to help shape and deliver high-quality digital experiences
Contribute product management expertise by bringing customer needs, market insights, and technology considerations together to support product vision, roadmap execution, and feature development
Collaborate closely with internal product managers, engineering, design, data, and business partners to translate product direction into clear requirements and intuitive customer experiences
Support products through discovery, development, launch, and iteration by gathering insights, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities to improve outcomes and customer satisfaction
Act as an advocate for the customer and a trusted partner to internal teams, helping drive continuous improvement while operating within established product strategy and governance
Shape and articulate a clear product vision by deeply understanding customer needs, business outcomes, and market signals, and translating them into meaningful product direction
Gather, synthesize, and document customer insights using research, feedback, competitive benchmarks, and metrics to inform features, priorities, and roadmap decisions
Contribute to near- and long-term product planning by helping define roadmaps, influencing trade-offs, and aligning partners around priorities and delivery plans
Translate vision into execution by defining customer goals, user stories, and requirements, and working closely with engineering and design to ensure outcomes align with intent
Guide products through launch and iteration by supporting go-to-market efforts, monitoring customer impact, and reincorporating feedback into future improvements
Use data and operational insights to identify issues, assess risk, and recommend improvements that enhance product performance, reliability, and customer experience
Communicate product direction effectively, influence without authority, and build strong cross-functional relationships to move teams forward and deliver results
Qualification
Required
You have a bachelor's degree in business, Business Systems, Information Systems, or related field
You have prior experience (10+ years, minimum) in the development and launch of digital product/solution strategy, roadmap, and execution leading production / capability teams
You can shape and articulate a clear product vision by deeply understanding customer needs, business outcomes, and market signals, and translating them into meaningful product direction
You know how to gather, synthesize, and document customer insights using research, feedback, competitive benchmarks, and metrics to inform features, priorities, and roadmap decisions
You contribute to near- and long-term product planning by helping define roadmaps, influencing trade-offs, and aligning partners around priorities and delivery plans
You are experienced in translating vision into execution by defining customer goals, user stories, and requirements, and working closely with engineering and design to ensure outcomes align with intent
You understand how to guide products through launch and iteration by supporting go-to-market efforts, monitoring customer impact, and reincorporating feedback into future improvements
