Responsibilities
Corporate-level financial modelling that includes analysis such as cash flow runway and capital structure
Project-level financial modelling associated with Aries' existing asset in Linden, NJ as well as supporting analysis for new development
Support closing existing capital raise for Aries' second project to include analysis of pending commercial agreements, EPC term sheets, pro forma capital structure
Develop corporate, project financing, project development and/or acquisition financial models in Excel with solid support and back-up data, including historical financial performance from other projects or facilities
Prepare meaningful financial and KPI analysis reports and data visualization for Senior Management, Board of Directors and Operations
Participate in preparation of quarterly BoD reports
Provide monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasts as needed
Prepare and perform ad hoc financial analysis as requested
Generate PowerPoint presentations communicating financial information and findings
Provide support to the business processes required to effectively meet the many challenges of the business including providing input and training for improvements
Other related duties as assigned and needed
Qualification
Required
Material financial modelling and/or transaction experience required
2-6 years working experience in project finance, investment banking or financial planning and analysis, preferably in clean technology, energy or heavy industries
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field
High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and financial modeling
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to create and present sophisticated PowerPoint Presentations
Fundamental knowledge of accounting concepts and how that translates into financial statement preparations and/or financial models
Knowledge of financial modeling best practices and theories
Proven ability to effectively and clearly present financial information to BoD, Sr. Management and stakeholders
Solid knowledge and use of ERP systems and associated reporting writer technologies
Knowledge of financial models as it relates to project development/acquisitions/financings in the clean technology, energy or heavy industries
