Responsibilities
Review monthly financial results, assess variances to forecast and provide reporting for various levels of internal management reporting needs
Partner with department heads and operational leaders to provide financial results and support strategic initiatives
Collaborate with FP&A, Asset Management and other departments to assist with financial budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
Provide support for the annual internal and external audits
Assist on special projects, including accounting for significant transactions
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Responsible for supporting management initiatives including process standardization and simplification, financial analysis and research, and reporting
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting
Two or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
A strategic thinker with an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial processes
Professional agility
Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with automated accounting systems
Must have the ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization
Demonstrate willingness to partner across internal departments
Preferred
CPA
Three or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas
Experience in public accounting at a Big 4 firm
MBA, or graduate finance related degree
Workday, Microsoft Great Plains or other large ERP systems experience
