Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of software engineers

Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members

Foster a positive and collaborative team culture

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables

Work with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives

Ensure the quality and integrity of the software development process

Provide technical expertise, guidance, and architectural oversight to the team

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new team members

Build and maintain a high-performing and motivated engineering team

Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members

Identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback

Support professional development and training opportunities

Facilitate effective communication within the engineering team and with other departments

Report project status, issues, and risks to upper management

Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and priorities

Foster cross-functional collaboration for successful project delivery

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Evaluate and implement new tools or methodologies to improve the development process

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies

Ensure the team is aware of and addresses potential challenges in the development process

Ensure that software products meet or exceed customer expectations
