Founding GTM Sales Development Representative
Search BizAthletes is scaling in 2026 and seeking their first Founding GTM SDR to build the entire sales development engine from scratch. This role involves creating the sales development strategy and playbook, owning the outbound process, and collaborating with leadership to shape the go-to-market motion.
Responsibilities
Build the Sales Development strategy + playbook (ICP, targeting, messaging, sequences, tools, workflows)
Own outbound end-to-end: prospecting → outreach → qualification → meetings → pipeline
Execute daily across email + LinkedIn + calling using a multi-touch system
Track performance weekly (conversion rates, activity-to-meeting ratios, pipeline impact) and iterate fast
Collaborate directly with leadership to shape our go-to-market motion
Help lay the foundation to hire/train SDRs as you grow into leadership
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of proven B2B SDR/BDR success with consistent quota overachievement
Experience in an early-stage startup environment (professional services, tech, or staffing)
Ability to show proof of success (dashboards, attainment, rankings, pipeline created, etc.)
2 manager/former manager references
High ownership: you can build the system and execute it
Mamba Mentality: obsessed with winning, resilient through rejection, willing to outwork the room — daily
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred (from an accredited university)
