Howmet Aerospace is seeking highly motivated and energetic students to join their team as Information Technology Interns. These positions will support the information services group and provide structured hands-on training with opportunities to present projects to management.

Responsibilities

Support the information services group with one or multiple phases of the information services methodology including analysis, design, development, testing, and support of new information technology solutions
Participate in structured hands-on training involving plant tours, lunch & learn seminars, fun networking events to connect with fellow interns, and projects selected to add direct value to the business
Present their projects to plant managers, supervisors, and mentors

Required

Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Management or a similar field
Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution (by May 2026)
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred

PC literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
Problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Javascript coding experience a plus
Web development experience a plus
Microsoft .NET development experience
SQL programming experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment
Strong organizational skills
Relevant internship/work/research experience a plus
