Estate Planning Paralegal
Sallen Law, LLC is a women-owned estate planning and administration firm recognized for its excellence in service. They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estate Planning & Administration Paralegal to support the Managing Partner and manage estate planning documents, client billing, and coordination with vendors.
Responsibilities
Support the Managing Partner in drafting, proofreading, and finalizing estate planning documents
Prepare and file probate and estate administration documents throughout PA & NJ
Manage client billing, track time entries and schedule client meetings
Coordinate with vendors and financial institutions to quickly and accurately administer trusts and estates
Conduct client intake and host client meetings
Ensure clients have a clear understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and expectations
Maintain organized client files in addition to preparing and filing deeds
Qualification
Required
An Associate or Bachelor's degree
3+ years of estate administration experience as a Paralegal
Have worked on estates between $1-5M
Have completed 15+ estate administrations from start to finish
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (meticulous grammar and proofreading)
Proficiency with e-filing systems and PA/NJ inheritance tax returns
Strong understanding of fiduciary or income tax principles and related documentation
Can maintain a strong record of meeting on average 5 billable hours + 2 admin hours per day
Preferred
A paralegal certification and/or Notary Public certification
Proficiency with LEAP, CLIO, WealthCounsel, or similar platforms
Experience coordinating with financial professionals and managing workflows
Strong project management skills and adherence to deadlines
