The Vice President of External Relationship Management will play a key role in managing commercial relationships with market data providers and advising on data strategies for the Aladdin business.

Responsibilities

Partner with members of legal and business stakeholders to negotiate complex agreements with third-party market data providers for Aladdin
Serve as an advisor to Aladdin teams in the development of data strategies and new product offerings for clients
Collaborate with IDS’s Client Onboarding Services (COS) Team and the Aladdin business to address market data questions for Aladdin clients
Understand and share industry trends, market data product offerings, technology trends and market intelligence

Required

Bachelor's degree preferably in finance, business, economics or related area; law degree is a plus
Minimum of 7-10+ years of financial services; market data industry experience preferred
Proven ability to interpret contract terms and conditions and communicate guidance to all levels, including senior management
Proficiency with MS Office applications, and ability to quickly learn
Outstanding verbal, written and listening skills
Diligent and high energy individual committed to excellence
Must be extremely detailed oriented
Comfort interacting with and influencing a broad range of audiences
Strong understanding of market data use cases, AI and data licensing terms
Ambitious, proactive problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to stretch outside your comfort zone and grow
Passion for being a part of a collaborative team

Preferred

Minimum of 7-10+ years of financial services; market data industry experience preferred
Familiarity with the Aladdin platform or similar enterprise investment management solutions or other FinTech solutions a plus
