Convotherm, a Welbilt brand, designs and manufactures commercial combi ovens for the foodservice market. The Director of Sales II - Chain Accounts is responsible for developing and executing the U.S. chain sales strategy, leading the sales organization, and driving revenue growth across chain channels.

Responsibilities
Define and execute the U.S. chain growth strategy, including segment prioritization, target account development, pipeline coverage, and booking-to-revenue conversion
Establish scalable chain sales processes, forecasting discipline, CRM utilization, and performance management cadence
Build, coach, and lead a high-performance chain sales organization
Leverage personal culinary background to influence chain menu innovation, kitchen workflow optimization, and equipment specification
Translate kitchen-level realities into compelling commercial value propositions for operations, culinary, procurement, and executive stakeholders
Partner with operations and service teams to ensure installation quality, early-life performance, and customer success — reducing friction from order intake through startup
Develop and manage relationships with chain accounts, foodservice consultants, manufacturers’ reps, dealers, and key distributor partners
Drive specification adherence, opportunity conversion, and protection against competitive displacement
Ensure alignment between chain strategy and broader dealer, consultant, and buying-group programs
Own chain channel revenue, margin contribution, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy
Establish data-driven scorecards and KPI dashboards to monitor bookings, backlog, win rates, pricing discipline, and rebate effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or relevant area is required
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial foodservice equipment sales, with a demonstrated track record in national or regional chain account development
Deep knowledge of the commercial combi oven category and the broader foodservice equipment ecosystem
Proven experience working with chains, manufacturers' representatives, foodservice dealers, consultants, and end users
Strong financial acumen, forecasting discipline, and executive-level communication skills
Strong negotiation skills and business/financial acumen
Strong presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time domestically and internationally. Valid passport and drivers license required
Must be able to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred
Culinary background strongly preferred — formal culinary training or significant professional kitchen experience is a major differentiator
Operations experience preferred, including exposure to kitchen design, equipment installation, startup, service, or foodservice operations management
