Director, Planning, Evaluation and Operations Division
The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is responsible for maintaining and preserving the Capitol and providing educational experiences for visitors. The Director, Planning, Evaluation, and Operations Division provides executive leadership for strategic planning, evaluation, and operational management of programs supporting the Capitol Visitor Center.

Responsibilities
Leading executive level strategic planning and operations for a complex organization, including development and execution of annual strategic and operational plans
Exercising authority over budget formulation, execution, and financial governance, including oversight of annual budgets and internal controls
Directing evaluation, research, and performance management initiatives and implementation of organizational improvements
Leading human capital and workforce management programs, including supervision through subordinate supervisors and coordination of labor relations
Exercising broad independent judgment and decision-making authority in high visibility environments
Coordination with or oversight of technology, infrastructure, or technical service functions in support of organizational objectives
Qualification
Required
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position
You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement
Specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level
Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service (or equivalent experience) that includes: Leading executive level strategic planning and operations for a complex organization, including development and execution of annual strategic and operational plans
