Enterprise Projects Manager - Technology

Hancock Whitney is a financial institution seeking an Enterprise Project Manager to lead complex technical and strategic projects. The role involves managing project scope, cost, schedule, and vendor relationships to ensure successful project outcomes and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Lead projects from initiation to close, ensuring delivery of objectives, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation
Represent business cases to key stakeholders and navigate governance forums for approval and oversight
Provide day-to-day leadership and management of project teams across assigned business lines
Develop and maintain detailed project plans; facilitate project meetings, communications, and documentation
Oversee all project deliverables including testing, implementation strategies, and execution of deliverables
Provide executive-level reporting on project status, risks, issues, timelines, and resources
Manage vendor relationships, including defining expectations, performance measures, and leading planning sessions
Collaborate with Enterprise Project Office (EPO), technology, operations, legal, compliance, risk, finance, and other support partners
Deliver presentations to senior leadership summarizing project objectives, scope, risks, mitigations, and outcomes
Support adoption of change management practices and ensure business readiness
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
Provide subject matter expertise and mentorship to team members and business partners as appropriate
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of technology project management or program management experience
Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and disciplines
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong organizational, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to recommend optimal courses of action

Preferred

PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or Agile certification preferred
