Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of seasonal denim and woven collections from concept through final production
Research and interpret emerging trends, washes, and fabric developments to create compelling and commercially relevant assortments
Collaborate closely with merchandising, technical design, and production teams to ensure design integrity, fit consistency, and on-time delivery
Develop detailed CAD sketches, tech packs, and wash direction for sampling and production
Present concepts, mood boards, and line plans to leadership and cross-functional partners
Partner with fabric and wash vendors to innovate on construction, finish, and sustainability opportunities
Manage sample development and design approvals, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetic and margin goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
4+ years of experience designing denim and/or woven apparel within a contemporary or lifestyle brand
Strong understanding of fabric construction, washes, finishes, and garment construction
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM systems
Excellent trend forecasting, sketching, and presentation skills
Ability to balance creativity with a strong sense of commerciality and brand positioning
Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners and overseas vendors
