Digital Content Creator
Rubenstein Communications is a strategic communications firm that builds and protects the reputations of over 400 clients across various industries. They are seeking a Digital Content Creator to join their Digital Group, responsible for creating engaging visual assets for multiple platforms and supporting the overall digital design and production needs of clients.
Responsibilities
Design and produce graphics, templates, videos, and other visual assets for social media campaigns—from Reels and infographics to formal videos
Work within existing client brand guidelines to create on-brand content that feels fresh, polished, and platform-appropriate
Create simple animations and motion graphics to elevate static content
Adapt content for different platform specs, aspect ratios, and audience expectations
Support as needed with internal Rubenstein Communications brand materials, like new business pitch decks, case studies, presentations, etc
Maintain organized asset libraries and template systems for efficiency across multiple clients
Design for a variety of web related projects: microsites, landing pages, motion graphics, infographics, animated gifs, data-visualizations, emails, display ads, etc
Ensure that account managers are kept fully informed regarding activities and client plans
Stay current and adaptable to platform and industry trends, the evolving social media landscape, and activities in assigned sectors
Nimbly work well within a collaborative team structure
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
Proficiency using template-based platforms such as Canva, Elementor, etc
Basic video editing capabilities and comfortability working with footage, captions, and simple cuts
Basic animation and motion graphic design
Basic presentation design
Experience using AI image generation tools; basic understanding/familiarity with AI and LLMs
Demonstrated expertise with digital platforms, analytics tools, and content production software
Understanding of platform-specific best practices and how to optimize content for each
Ability to identify emerging trends and translate them into strategic opportunities for clients
Ability to think critically and creatively and develop new and interesting ideas
Familiarity with day-to-day tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Sprout Social, Meltwater, Google Analytics, and others
Experience with project management, including maintaining version control and consolidating edits from multiple stakeholders
Ability to manage time, multi-task, and move quickly with efficiency and attention to detail while ensuring deadlines are met
Able to take verbal direction quickly and accurately
Self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously and taking initiative
Exhibit initiative and the drive to succeed; creative, curious, and energetic personality
Focus on team success and collaboration
Portfolio demonstrating social media content creation across multiple platforms
3–5 years of experience, ideally in an agency, non-profit, or campaign setting where multiple clients and/or projects are worked on simultaneously
Preferred
College degree preferred – focus in Graphic / Web Design or a related field, is ideal
Versatility to work across multiple sectors helpful
