Responsibilities
Investigate the molecular mechanisms regulating chromatin structure and epigenetic processes in genome function and stability
Access state-of-the-art on-site facilities, including advanced instrumentation for cryoEM/cryoET, NMR spectroscopy, and X-ray crystallography
Demonstrate strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Exhibit demonstrated scientific writing skills, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications
Multitask and prioritize effectively, with attention to detail and meticulous experimental record-keeping
Qualification
Required
Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Demonstrated scientific writing skills, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, with attention to detail and meticulous experimental record-keeping
Knowledge of either clinical-based research or laboratory-based research often obtained from a postdoctoral program
Proof of English proficiency for J-1 Short-Term Scholars, Research Scholars, Professors, Specialists, and Student Interns sponsored by Mayo Clinic
Preferred
