The role involves designing and implementing PLC-based automated process control systems, maintaining instrumentation systems, and managing projects related to process control.

Responsibilities

Design and implementation of PLC based automated process control for new production systems

System start-up support

Establishing, implementation of, and maintaining Preventive Maintenance programs for all new and existing process control and instrumentation systems

Maintaining all plant process control and instrumentation systems

Establishing, implementation of, and maintaining a Data Acquisition program for all new and existing systems

Project Management

Develop and design electrical and controls system schematics and drawings based on engineering principles using AutoCAD/SolidWorks

Ability to read, interpret and troubleshoot electrical schematics and control systems

On-call position, may require working nights and weekends

Required

Minimum of 5 years related work experience

Thorough knowledge of industrial process control and instrumentation

Possess a valid driver's license

Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time

Ability to ascend/descend stairs in buildings

Requires ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. unassisted

Requires frequent bending, reaching, squatting, pulling, and pushing

Ability to work outdoors throughout the year in extreme temperatures
