Responsibilities

Provide onsite and remote technical support for robotic automation systems, including AMR and robot shuttle (G2P) solutions
Perform system commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance during deployment and ongoing service phases
Diagnose hardware, electrical, mechanical, and software issues using system logs, diagnostic tools, data analysis, and onsite observation
Respond to service tickets and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and clear, professional communication with customers
Collaborate closely with Product and R&D teams to resolve complex, system-level technical issues
Collect, document, and analyze field issues, including root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions, to support continuous product and service improvement
Deliver technical training and operational guidance to customers, partners, and internal teams as required
Adhere to established service processes, safety procedures, and documentation standards
Travel to customer sites as required, including domestic and international travel, depending on project needs
Translate advanced robotics and automation technical knowledge into practical solutions, documentation, and training materials

Required

Bachelor's degree (4-year) in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Hands-on experience with robotic systems, automation equipment, or related electromechanical systems
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, electrical, mechanical, and software domains
Ability to work independently in customer-facing environments
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Demonstrated teamwork, customer service orientation, and willingness to learn
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada, as applicable to the work location

Preferred

Experience with PLC systems (e.g., Sick, Siemens, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell)
Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, ProfNet, TCP/IP)
Familiarity with Linux-based systems, command-line tools, and log analysis
Understanding of warehouse automation, material handling, or intralogistics systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Prior experience delivering technical training to customers or internal teams
Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is highly desired, to support cross-regional teams and customers
