Deviation Management Specialist
Integrated Resources, Inc (IRI) is seeking a Deviation Management Specialist to provide technical support to manufacturing operations. The role involves leading investigations into process deviations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying scientific principles to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support to manufacturing operations, ensuring timely resolution and reduction of process deviations
Lead and document manufacturing and laboratory investigations, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Support aseptic manufacturing, testing, planning, and product release through collaboration with cross-functional teams
Apply scientific and engineering principles to investigate and resolve process deviations and laboratory test failures
Conduct troubleshooting, data analysis, and laboratory/pilot-scale experiments to support process improvement
Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and quality performance
Off-shift work may be required
Qualification
Required
B.S. or M.S. degree in an engineering or scientific discipline
1+ years of experience in a cGMP-regulated environment (Production, Development, Process Engineering, or Technical Services) within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
Experience writing investigations for atypical manufacturing events
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
