VP, Sales & Marketing - Capital Equipment

Career Transitions, a morales group company, is currently seeking a Vice President, Sales & Marketing for a newly formed division of a Capital Equipment manufacturer servicing the industrial recycling industry. This role will lead their go-to-market strategy and drive business revenue growth through direct reports while overseeing all aspects of sales, marketing, and business development.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company goals and growth targets
Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team, including direct sales reps, dealer networks, and channel partners
Establish and monitor KPIs, sales metrics, forecasts, and territory planning
Lead integrated marketing strategy encompassing brand, digital, product, and field marketing
Oversee development of marketing materials, campaigns, and trade show presence
Drive lead generation, CRM optimization, and customer lifecycle management
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints
Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to align sales feedback with product development
Contribute to executive team decisions on pricing strategy, competitive positioning, and go-to-market alignment
Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, large enterprise opportunities, and high-impact accounts
Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape in recycling and waste sectors
Represent the company at key industry events, associations, and with key stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related
At least 15 years of progressive leadership in B2B and/or dealer/distributor sales
Preferably experience in industrial equipment or manufacturing
Demonstrated success leading and scaling high-performing sales teams
Experience in organization and compensation model design
Strategic thinker with analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
Results driven leader, able to capture market share, defend existing positions, and bring innovative ideas for geographic and industry sector expansion
