Pique Action is a climate-focused studio creating premium storytelling for companies, nonprofits, and institutions shaping a more sustainable future. The Director of Partnerships will play a critical role in identifying the right partners, opening doors, and building durable relationships over time, working closely with the CEO to shape the company's growth strategy.

Responsibilities
Research and identify high-potential partners across climate tech, sustainability, film, media, and adjacent sectors
Develop a deep understanding of Pique’s offerings, positioning, and ideal partners
Prioritize outreach based on strategic fit, timing, and long-term relationship potential
Maintain clean, thoughtful records in Airtable CRM to support continuity and scale
Craft clear, credible outbound messaging that reflects Pique’s voice and value
Design and run multi-touch outreach campaigns
Thoughtfully re-engage past conversations and inactive accounts
Build early relationships with prospective partners, not just transactional leads
Support outreach before and after conferences, festivals, and industry events
Help Pique deepen its presence in the ecosystems where we work
Track engagement patterns and share insights to inform future strategy
Own early-stage opportunity flow and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Partner closely with the CEO to assess deal readiness and strategic fit
Create strong, well-researched handoffs for warm opportunities
Surface patterns, insights, and ideas to improve how we sell and partner
Qualification
Required
7–10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or a related role
Comfortable operating with autonomy and ambiguity and wearing a lot of hats
Strong written communicator with a sharp instinct for tone and clarity
Systems-minded, organized, and disciplined with follow-through
Curious, solutions-oriented, self-starter, and eager to understand how the business works end-to-end
Adaptable and resourceful
Interested in growing into broader responsibility over time
Energized by climate, sustainability, media, and mission-driven work
