Consultative Sales Lead – AI + Creative + Technical Talent
Artisan Talent is a boutique staffing and talent advisory firm focused on AI-forward creative roles. They are seeking a Consultative Sales Lead to build relationships and partner with clients to deliver solutions in hiring challenges, particularly in creative, product, and technical domains.
Responsibilities
Source and engage hiring leaders using Apollo, Clay, HubSpot, referrals, and your own ideas
Convert prospects into long-term clients through thoughtful, consultative conversations
Run the full sales cycle: discovery, positioning, negotiation, close, and account growth
Partner closely with recruiters to ensure strong matches and successful placements
Place high-impact talent across product design, UX engineering, AI-enhanced creative, and marketing
Close hourly contract roles and direct-hire placements
Attend networking events and industry gatherings to expand relationships and visibility
Stay current on trends in creative technology, AI, and modern team structures
Build real relationships—conversations, lunches, events, and trust over time
Qualification
Required
4–6 years of client-facing sales or business development experience
Genuinely interested in creative, product, tech, or AI-driven industries
Built new business before and are comfortable owning a full sales cycle
Prefer consultative conversations over transactional selling
Enjoy partnering cross-functionally and value strong recruiter relationships
Self-directed, disciplined, and comfortable working without heavy oversight
Benefits
Commission: Uncapped
Year-one realistic production: $400K–$700K
Year-one realistic OTE: $130K–$160K
