Responsibilities
Round at assigned nursing homes and provide psychotherapy to their clients
Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families
Proactively follow up with patients and assess efficacy of recommended interventions
Provide education on best practices
Work with the psychiatric provider to integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible
Qualification
Required
Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
Valid state licensure as a Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
Experience working in a nursing home setting
