Engineering Intern I

The Engineering Intern will assist the plant production and engineering team with technical support for improvement projects and contribute to various engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities
Compiles, analyzes, and interprets data related to Lean projects
Contribute to Lean projects at the Plant level
Provide technical expertise and leadership in equipment improvement projects (Capital and Non-Capital)
Assists in the conception, development, design, and performance of various operations and maintenance improvement projects
Supports continuous process improvement efforts for all departments
Compiles, analyzes, and interprets data related to process improvement projects
Develops cost estimates for maintenance improvement projects
Assists with the maintenance of all technical documentation including prints, manuals, and process software
Develop Training materials for Maintenance Technician Training
Assist in development of cost savings initiatives and track progress towards plant goals
Follow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures, related to production of Safe Quality Foods
Report any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority to record and/or correct the situation
Qualification
Required
Completion of Junior Year of Engineering bachelor's degree Program for Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
