Improvement & Impact Specialist
Home Chef is a customer support company seeking an Improvement & Impact Specialist to enhance their quality assurance and training programs. The role involves executing QA programs, conducting training sessions, and driving improvement initiatives to enhance customer support operations.

Responsibilities
Execute Quality Assurance Programs
Review associate emails, phone calls and chats against our in-house quality assurance rubric weekly; Base amount of ~300 QA reviews per month with the expectation of increasing that amount to reach industry standards
Maintain quality assurance tools so that they are up to date; add in new hires and remove former staff
Conduct and participate in calibration meetings
Conduct group training sessions as part of the new hire program
Monitor the progress of each new hire through the training program and be responsible for ensuring the employee is ready for full independent work; surface progress and concerns to team leads and leadership
Collect feedback from new hires and experienced staff to improve the program
Participate in the recruitment and interview process for associate staff
Manage the execution of supplementary ongoing training for existing staff beyond new hire onboarding
Organize training and exercises designed to improve team bonding, engagement at work, and personal development
Work with team leads and supervisors to provide additional training resources to individuals when needed
Manage internal and customer-facing knowledge base resources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and up-to-date sources of truth
Work with supervisors across the department (and cross functionally) to collect and assess the most impactful education and training opportunities
Design and conduct training to address new opportunities and track metrics to ensure training was successful
Proactively learn and stay current with new features, products and training methods to update materials and programming for optimal efficiency
Participate in the development of Improvement and Impact strategy and road mapping
Provide subject matter expertise and customer insights when needed
Contribute to and conduct value-additive projects aimed at impacting operations, streamlining team performance, and improving the customer experience
Identify trends and conduct gap analysis to ensure training materials and QA expectations are aligned
Qualification
Required
Completion of a four-year degree, preferred
Must be a Senior Associate (if internal candidate)
Must demonstrate consistency in High Performance of Quality Assurance scores (if internal candidate)
Prior customer support experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in facilitation/presentation
Growth mindset, solution-oriented, big-picture-thinking, and deals well with ambiguity
Positive attitude
Preferred
Teaching or LMS experience a plus
Experience/Interest in data analysis a plus
